“Strengthening Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to Accelerate Human Capital Development and Economic Growth”

The Faculty of Engineering, University of Surabaya (Indonesia), in collaboration with the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya, is proud to host a conference titled “Strengthening Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to Accelerate Human Capital Development and Economic Growth.” This event marks a significant step forward in the ongoing global effort to harness the transformative power of STEM disciplines in shaping a more resilient, inclusive, and prosperous future.

In today’s dynamic world, STEM education and innovation stand at the forefront of solving complex societal challenges. This role encompasses driving technological advancement and industrial competitiveness, as well as addressing issues such as climate change, public health, and equitable access to opportunities. STEM is a vital engine for human capital development and sustainable economic growth.

The conference brings together a diverse and interdisciplinary group of stakeholders, including researchers, educators, policymakers, industry leaders, and development practitioners. Please note that submission to Scopus-indexed journals requires an additional publication fee and is subject to each journal’s independent peer-review process.

All papers not submitted to journals will be officially published in the Proceedings.

Review Process

Peer review is essential to ensure the quality, validity, and academic standards of published papers. All submissions are anonymized and grouped by topic before being assigned to reviewers based on their expertise. Each paper is reviewed by at least two reviewers, and revised manuscripts may undergo a second review if required. Reviewers’ feedback is intended to help authors improve the content, structure, and clarity of their papers.
